- 1. Take a loose measuring tape, it could be cloth or plastic but a tape which is flexible. It’s usually called sewing tape or tailoring tape (not carpenter tape). You can also print our free measuring tape here.
- 2. Measure using the beginning of the tape and keep it firm.
- 3. Wear fitted clothing when taking the measurements i.e. briefs, tights, yoga pants, leggings, jeggings, cycling shorts, etc. and take your measurements with your shoes off.
- 4. Measure your body accurately. Do not make any additions or deductions to your body measurement.
- 5. If you need to provide additional information or specification with respect to your measurements (for example you want your actual jeans bottom, or thighs or hips to be of a particular length or size) provide it in “additional notes” when finalizing your order.
- 6. Feel free to have a friend or relative help you take your body measurements. Or take each other’s measurements.
- 7. Do not provide any measurements from any of your garments. Those are typically mass produced and not tailored to your exact body.

Waist
Begin by firmly tying/wearing a belt, rope, or shoestring around the area where you want your jeans to rest. This is where you will wear your jeans. Measure the circumference. Your waist measurement will be the entire circumference of the area where your jeans will rest. So if you want a low, mid or high rise jeans you will measure the low, mid or high waist circumference and not your natural waist. While measuring, position the tape very close to the body without tightening.
These jeans fit perfectly. I like the way they feel and I'm pleased with the way they are holding up day after day. The material is soft but doesn't seem like it'll wear over time. I wear jeans on a daily basis so I plan on purchasing a few more. So far so good!

As I have said in other reviews, the Classic Straight Fit is my favorite cut. The problem is every manufacturer or brand has their "own" definition on how it should fit on me. So I usually end up going through a dozen brands and a bunch of try-ons before finding remotely resembling what I like. So have something made exactly how I want it to fit, can't argue with that. Medium wash soft and sturdy. And they fit like a glove!

This is my 5th pair of D|H jeans and I still want to collect the rest of the colors. I wear jeans everyday for work and on weekends. So I like to have several cuts and colors. I measured myself (pretty simple if you follow the guide). I have re-ordered with the same measurements so far and the fit is by far better than anything I have ever bought in store. I recommend.

Can't recommend these jeans enough. These are my new favorite jeans. Bought one pair to test them out. Sure enough the fit was pretty amazing. No real issues that I can think of. I have bought a few more subsequently. I'm 6'3" and I'm not a fan of baggy jeans. The "straight" leg is not too loose but not too tight. Just wider than a slim.
